Sunday, April 27th; 2-4 PM
Celebrate Arbor Day and Earth Day with us at Thomas Cole National Historic Site, featuring local vendors from The Forest Exchange, Greene County Soil and Water Conservation District, and the Catskill Tree Council. At 2 PM, join 2025 Cole Fellow Elizabeth for a special ticketed walking tour of the grounds and gardens.
This walking tour takes place primarily outdoors, rain or shine. Umbrellas are available at the entrance of each building for visitors to borrow on a first-come, first-served basis. The event is suitable for all ages.
Everyone is welcome!
The Thomas Cole National Historic Site is the former home of Hudson River School of Art founder, Thomas Cole. Located in the village of Catskill, the house, called Cedar Grove, and Cole's studio are open for tours, events, and workshops throughout the year.
