Hudson River Hotspots

The Hudson River and its friendly little tributary, the Catskill Creek, mark the eastern border of Greene County, offering access to really cool bars by boat, car, bike, or foot. Here are a few of our favorite spots:

Creekside Restaurant in Catskill is the place to get together to watch the game on Sunday, or relax with a cocktail and watch the sunset in the evening.
Cask and Rasher in Coxsackie is the cool little local pub you've been looking for. Trust us, just go there.
Boathouse Grille in New Baltimore is right on the water, offering dinner on the Hudson and the perfect place for a leisurely lunch with friends.
The Inn at Leeds in Leeds is one of our consistent heavy hitters – great food, service, atmosphere.

Very Valley

The Catskill Mountains may offer some of the best views in the state, but the valleys offer some of the coolest bar experiences anywhere.

Mountain Brauhaus in Round Top serves up authentic German and Bavarian cuisine with refreshing pours in their Bavarian-style beer hall. Enjoy festive entertainment, or even sing and dance along with the band!
Red Rooster Bar & Grill in Cairo offers burgers, wings, and a solid bar menu. Special events and entertainment are offered on the regular. Karaoke anyone?
