Discover the ancient art of wet felting in this hands-on, three-hour workshop! Using wool roving, hot water, olive oil soap, and your own hands, you’ll transform raw wool into sculpt-able fabric. You will learn how to wet felt, how to create organic forms and how to make multi-layered felt to build up multiple layers of petals to create beautiful fiber art!
Mallory Zondag, a mixed-media fiber artist and educator, explores storytelling through felting, weaving, and sculpture. Inspired by nature’s cycles and humanity’s connection to them, her work brings ephemeral ideas to life through rich textures and fiber art. Zondag’s work has been exhibited in museums and galleries worldwide.
