Experience David's visual art with photographs of reflected sunlight on display, accompanied by his recorded works playing throughout Tower Stair. Enjoy drinks from the Foreland bar.
Live Performance by Music for Furniture - 5pm
Members of the ambient ensemble Music for Furniture are interspersed throughout Tower Stair.
David Garland, a composer, performer, audio producer, photographer, and former WNYC host, resides in the Catskill area. He brings his rich collection of ambient compositions and reflected sunlight photography to an immersive exhibition at Tower Stair. The opening reception will feature selections of his recorded works, with his photographic prints displayed throughout the stairwell. Following this, David’s ambient ensemble, Music for Furniture, will perform live, with musicians positioned on various floors of the staircase.
