Every Memorial Day Weekend, the East Durham Irish Festival attracts thousands of attendees to enjoy Irish American & Irish music, crafts, culture and so much more. Our very own Donegal Cottage opens to the public this weekend as well. This is one of the longest-running USA Irish festivals, and 2025 will be our 48th year!
Friday, May 23 (Free Admission)
6:00 PM – 9:00 PM: Kickoff & Toast at the Beer Garden
Kick off the festival on Friday night with live music and pub vibes. Bring your instruments, voice, and dancing shoes!
Saturday, May 24
10:00 AM – 10:00 PM: Live performances and family activities
Sunday, May 25
10:00 AM: Celebrate Holy Mass with Father Fragomeni in the Main Pavilion (Free Admission).
12:00 PM – 9:00 PM: Live performances and family activities
Kids Tent: Enjoy Irish crafts, music lessons, face painting, storytelling, genealogy, and more.
Entertainment: Over 25 acts performing on four stages.
Food & Drink: Irish delicacies, festival favorites, and drinks to delight everyone.
Family-Friendly: Strollers and wagons are encouraged for little ones.
Authentic Irish Experiences: Tour the Donegal Stone Cottage, explore the Largest Map of Ireland in the World with guided tours, and watch performances by Irish dance schools and pipe bands.
