Honor the Greene County 2024 Veteran of the Year at the Historic Catskill Point
Please come out to celebrate and honor our 2024 Greene County Veteran of the Year, WWI USCG Signalman 1st Class Stanley Maltzman with family, friends, and community at the Historic Catskill Point on Saturday, November 2nd at 10 AM.
Stanley Maltzman, a 103-year-old veteran, was born on July 4th, 1921, in the Bronx, the son of Abraham and Sarah Maltzman.
At the age of 20, Maltzman enlisted and joined the Coast Guard. Maltzman served in the Communications Unit from March 26, 1942, to May 1st, 1946.
Stanley Maltzman became a widely known and highly acclaimed landscape artist, author, and educator. He has lived in Greene County for 50 years.
This is a public event and all are invited to attend.
