Learn the essentials of knife skills in this comprehensive class, led by Chef Henning Nordanger with hands-on demonstrations. Get expert knowledge on how to choose, store, sharpen, hold, and use the most important tool in your kitchen. Mainly focusing on vegetables, discover the most essential techniques to slice, dice, chop, mince, brunoise, bâtonnet, and julienne both efficiently and safely.
We’ll have basic knives available, but bring as many as you wish from your own home kitchen. Henning will also share how-to instructions for sharpening them, as well.
