Wildlife conservation photographer and moth enthusiast Carla Rhodes invites you to explore the fascinating world of moths! In this engaging presentation, Carla will introduce you to the art of mothing—what it is, how to do it, and why moths play a vital role in our ecosystems.
She’ll share simple techniques for attracting and observing moths, including an easy DIY setup using just a sheet and a light, along with other creative methods. You’ll also get a close-up look at Carla’s stunning macro photography of moths from her own backyard and learn about the essential host plants that support them throughout their life cycles. And of course, Carla will make the case for why moths are just as breathtaking as butterflies—if not more so—and why they are unsung heroes of global pollination.
