Amy Silberkleit, a Northern Catskills artist, creates detailed lithographic landscapes inspired by the region’s forests, mountains, and trails. Working in her Gilboa studio, she draws on limestone blocks and hand-prints limited editions, utilizing the fine texture of lithography for rich tonal detail.
She holds a B.A. in printmaking, a Certificate in Natural Science Art from the New York Botanical Gardens, and has studied at the Art Students League. Her work has been exhibited at the Arkell Museum, the Metropolitan Museum of Art Gallery Store, and the Albany Institute, which holds two of her pieces. A recipient of multiple printmaking awards, she is a member of the Society of American Graphic Artists and the Woodstock Artists Association.
