A year after her husband's tragic death, Julie struggles with grief and a lost memory of that night. When her son creates an unconventional senior project—Date My Mom—to help her heal, she is forced to confront hidden truths and the possibility of love again. Will she embrace this unexpected path or remain trapped in the past? Date My Mom by Louisa Vilardi is a poignant story of loss, resilience, and love.
Louisa Vilardi, a writer and photographer from New Jersey, taught high school English and creative writing for over a decade before moving to the Hudson Valley. Her work has appeared in The Huffington Post, Scary Mommy, and Her View From Home, and her plays have been produced nationwide. She is a proud member of The Dramatists Guild of America.
