In O Time, written and performed by David Zellnik and directed by Danilo Gambini, the audience embarks on a deeply personal journey inspired by Zellnik's own experience while working on his musical YANK! in Rio de Janeiro. There, he became part of a passionate theatre community, including a vibrant young producer named George, whose death two years later sends David back to Brazil on a quest to understand George’s life and the impact of his loss. This introspective solo performance explores the intersection of cultures, languages, and time, as David digs deeper into George’s personal world, confronting his own emotions and fears. O Time is a moving investigation of love, loss, and the passage of time, examining how one’s understanding of the past shapes their connection to the present.
