Water Is The Sun is an exploratory project conceived by the minds behind Drekka and Timber Rattle.

In moments of silent depth, winter’s scalpel of meaning and spring’s unleashed body of sound meet in full presence. When the notes emerge, they are one with the ordered world. The ritual of process carries, while the process of ritual reveals fleeting yet eternal moments—felt by musician, seer, and herald alike. Tones rise from shattered primordial sea salt, melodies creep unheard across desert blaze and human knowledge, and hymns whisper thunder from mountain peaks and valleys, their power merging with body, voice, and soul, dissolving the world again and again.

Pat Gubler, known as P.G. Six, is a guitarist and songwriter who has been making music for most of his life. He began performing in the ’90s with Memphis Luxure and Tower Recordings. Since releasing his first P.G. Six album in 2001, he has recorded six albums, both solo and collaboratively. Pat has also played with Metal Mountains, Wet Tuna, Garcia Peoples, and Weeping Bong Band. His latest release, Murmurs & Whispers, came out in 2023.
