Join us on Sunday, March 9, 2025, at 2:00 PM for the Women’s History of the Historic Property walking tour at the Thomas Cole National Historic Site. Led by 2025 Cole Fellow Frances, this 45-minute tour of the Main House explores the lives of the women who lived, worked, and created art at Cedar Grove. Through Frances’ research, you’ll discover the often-overlooked stories of those who shaped the site’s history, from generations of women who stewarded the property to the contributions of the greater Black community in the Catskills.

Your ticket includes access to the Storehouse, Cole Center, gift shop, and the grounds and gardens. However, admission to our annual Sunday Salon Series and the Thomas Cole & Historic Household guided tours requires separate tickets. The tour group is limited to 12 participants, and advance tickets are recommended as tours often sell out. Please check in at the Cole Center at least 10 to 15 minutes before your scheduled time. While we will do our best to accommodate late arrivals in the next available time slot, availability is not guaranteed.

Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for Thomas Cole Site members, and free for children under 18 and SNAP/EBT cardholders with proof of eligibility. Refunds are available up to 24 hours in advance. The tour is partially wheelchair accessible, and all children must be accompanied by an adult.
